Canton Commercial Developments
Hickory Log Creek Reservoir
The Hickory Log Creek Reservoir and Dam is a joint project between the City of Canton and Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority (CCMWA), expected to be complete around 2009. In addition to providing Canton area residents with a long-lasting source of drinking water, there will be recreation areas for picnics and fishing alongside the 370 acre lake.
The Bluffs of Technology Park
This new development brings hi-tech business to Canton (Named Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Deal of the Year in 2000)
The 700 acre Bluffs of Technology Park is a mixed-use community that includes commercial, retail and residential developments. This high tech park will be located just off I-575 behind Riverstone Plaza shopping center and borders on the new Hickory Log Creek Reservoir.
Canton Marketplace (Opening Fall 2008)
In order to accommodate the demands of Canton’s growing market, Sembler is developing a 800,000 plus square foot shopping center in the heart of a major development that will also include a regional hospital, office and residential space. Located at I-575 and Highway 20, the Marketplace will include discount department stores, big box retailers, shop space and outparcels with great access to the highway and nearby office and residential areas.

Cherokee Recreation & Parks Authority offers a variety of year-round activities, classes, programs and special events.
